Front office employee

Silonque Bush Estate is a holiday estate with houses for sale as well as short term rental. We are situated in the bush just north of Phalaborwa and there are wild animals that are roaming freely on our estate( e.g. Impala, waterbuck, warthogs, giraffe).

Job description

You are the first contact for our customers. Your tasks will include; answering incoming calls, answering emails, receiving guests, bringing guests to their holiday home and handling complaints. Further you administratively prepare guests arrivals. You maintain contact with our partners (travel agencies and other booking agencies). In addition you will be involved in marketing and sales activities.

Your working environment

Working in the hospitality branch means that you have to be flexible. Flexible in contact with clients (customer is always right) and flexible in working hours. The atmosphere at the office and on the rest of the estate is informal; we have a multicultural team that works tight together.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for someone that is very client centric. You are well organized, you have good communication skills (verbal and written), affinity with or experience in hospitality branch and no 9-5 mentality. You like to work with people and you are not afraid to ask questions.


  • Flexible working hours (including evenings and weekends)
  • 24 hours per week
  • Experience in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Proven experience in hospitality
  • Required languages: English (fluent) and Afrikaans. All other languages would be an added value e.g. Sotho
  • Own transport
