There are plenty of activities on site and in the vicinity to keep you entertained during your stay.
Golf in the wild
For a nice day of golf there is the Hans Merensky Golf course in Phalaborwa. This 18 hole Championship golf course, designed by Bob Grimsdell, has been voted as the best course (on foot) in the country and is adjoining the Kruger National park. Experience what it’s like to tee off in the middle of the bush between wildlife. Don’t be surprised when the monkeys are playing with your golf ball. Just accept it and move on. That’s what makes golf in the bush so special. Play golf, enjoy nature and have fun with the animals and each other.
The panorama route
One of the most beautiful travel destinations of South Africa is by far the idyllic Panorama Route. Stretching through the Northern Drakensberg in the Mpumalanga province. You will pass the Great Escarpment, the inland plateau where it declines abruptly onto the Lowveld plains. The spectacular views are at it’s best in the dry winter months. But don’t worry! The rest of the year is also breathtakingly beautiful. So take your car and enjoy the three rondavels, pinnacle rock, god’s window, the amazing bourkes luck putholes, the Berlin falls and many more.
Sit back, relax and let the game come to you while you are enjoying your coffee or your wine during your river safari on the Olifants River. The Olifants river floats through a private game reserve and Kruger National Park, so you have the possibility to see the whole Big 5!
The boat leaves at 8 AM in the morning and returns arround 11 AM. There is also a boattrip in the afternoon that leaves at 15 PM and returns arround 18 PM.
